Studying the Bible is Necessary for Our Spiritual Growth ~ God's Word performs three functions to help us mature spiritually. Just as we need to continually breathe oxygen to survive, we need to regularly study and apply the Bible to grow and flourish spiritually. Here are some important reasons why "The Most Excellent Way" relies solely on God's Word for life and ministry:

2 Timothy 3:16-17 NKJV ~ "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."

Studying the Bible Cleanses Us ~

Psalm 119:9 NKJV ~ "How can a young man cleanse his way?

By taking heed according to Your word."

Deuteronomy 11:18-19 NKJV ~ "Therefore you shall lay up these words of mine in your heart and in your soul, and bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall teach them to your children, speaking of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up."
