It begins with a simple understanding of
THE GOSPEL ...
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ,
for it is the power of God to salvation for
everyone who believes, for the Jew first and
also for the Greek. ~ Romans 1:16 NKJV
that Jesus is God,
Jesus said: “I and My Father are one.”
John10:30 NKJV
who became a Man ...
For there is one God and one Mediator
between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus,
… ~ 1 Timothy 2:5 NKJV
in order to save mankind from everlasting
separation from God.
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth,
and the life. No one comes to the Father
except through Me.” ~ John 14:6 NKJV
Jesus said: “For God so loved the world
that He gave His only begotten Son, that
whoever believes in Him should not perish
but have everlasting life. For God did not
send His Son into the world to condemn the
world, but that the world through Him
might be saved.” ~ John 3:16-17 NKJV
that resulted from man’s sin.
But your iniquities have separated you from
your God; And your sins have hidden His
face from you, so that He will not hear.
~ Isaiah 59:2 NKJV
Jesus satisfied the perfect justice of God ...
And He Himself is the propitiation for our
sins, and not for ours only but also for the
whole world. ~ 1 John 2:2 NKJV
by His once-and-for-all payment for the
sins of humanity ...
By that will we have been sanctified
through the offering of the body of Jesus
Christ once for all. And every priest stands
ministering daily and offering repeatedly
the same sacrifices, which can never take
away sins. But this Man, after He had
offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat
down at the right hand of God, from that
time waiting till His enemies are made His
footstool. ~ Hebrews 10:10-13 NKJV
through His death on the Cross.
... looking unto Jesus, the author and
finisher of our faith, who for the joy that
was set before Him endured the cross,
despising the shame, and has sat down at
the right hand of the throne of God.
~ Hebrews 12:2 NKJV
His resurrection from the dead ...
... concerning His Son Jesus Christ our
Lord, who was born of the seed of David
according to the flesh, and declared to be
the Son of God with power according to the
Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from
the dead. ~ Romans 1:3-4 NKJV ~
assures the salvation of all those who
acknowledge before God their sin ...
For godly sorrow produces repentance
leading to salvation, not to be regretted;
but the sorrow of the world produces
death. ~ 2 Corinthians 7:10 NKJV
and their hopelessness in saving themselves,
For when we were still without strength,
in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
~ Romans 5:6 NKJV
