"The Most Excellent Way"
I N T E R N A T I O N A L
Pastor Valeriy Trenogin began ministering to young addicts in the 90s. "Light of the Truth" Church in Perm, Russia, is known as the “drug addicts’ church.” Young people and their families are are turning their lives over to Jesus. Once freed from addictions by faith in Jesus Christ, they are born into the Kingdom of God. And the Church is expanding and growing into additional areas in Perm and Russian cities.
We conducted a “The Most Excellent Way” training workshop in Perm in June, 2001. Since then, Pastor Valeriy and his team have spread the ministry across Russia, and established residential rehab facilities. The waiting list for admission grows daily.
The Russian government officially designated “The Most Excellent Way” as the most effective program for “treating” addictions, and awarded 9600 euros to Pastor Valeriy's ministry.
We are blessed and excited about how the Lord has used "The Most Excellent Way" and "Light of Truth" Church in Russia for His glory!
