Jesus broke open the prison of sin which

is the wickedness of the heart. He gives

us freedom to walk with Him and to

follow after Him into eternity.

... and recovery of sight to the blind,

Jesus provides recovery of sight for the

blind. We were spiritually blind to truth.

We couldn’t see God’s perspective. Now

we see a reason and purpose for life beyond

passion for pleasure. We have new sight.

We’re not recovering the old life, we’re

living a new, eternal lifestyle for Him.

... He has sent Me to HEAL the brokenhearted,

Jesus heals the brokenhearted — He is the healer of our souls.

We've received a heart transplant ... a heart after God.

"This is the day the LORD has made;

We will rejoice and be glad in it."

Psalms 118:24 NKJV

... to set at liberty those who are

oppressed;

Just as Jesus makes our soul and spirit alive to Him, He heals the addicted natural body. Physical healing from addiction may be instantaneous, or it may require a few weeks or months of loving TLC and guidance in “The Most Excellent Way” ICU. Jesus sets at liberty those who are oppressed by the sin

nature, the world and the devil.

... to proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD."

"Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and

as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

But also for this very reason, giving all diligence,

add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love.

For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of

our Lord Jesus Christ.

For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins.

Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble; for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom

of our Lord and

Savior Jesus Christ.
